Constant focus on customer’s needs allows making the modern modular compressor stations on the basis of Borets compressor plants. Depending on function the modular compressor stations are produced in two versions - VKU KS and MKS.

All modular compressor stations independent of compressible medium are designed for installation in open areas with ambient temperatures -40 °F to 104 °F (-40 °C to 40 °C).
The product range of modular compressor stations comprises more than 50 different models including stations for compression of aggressive and explosive gases.
All models and versions of modular compressor stations were certified by the State Technical Inspection and have Certificates of Conformity and Permissions for operation.
All equipment in standard completion can be placed in the following containers:
- 20-feet standard railway container of 1SS type
- 40-feet standard railway container of 1AA type
- container of individual sizes.

Advantages of modular compressor stations:
- no need to construct the solid building for compressor station
- no need to construct the special foundation, plane surface is enough

Piston compressor plants

Borets offers wide range of piston compressor plants:
- piston compressor plants for indoor installation in the heated room
- piston compressor plants for outdoor installation under the awning (for temperatures -13 °F to 113 °F (-25 °C to 45 °C)
- piston compressor plants with complete hook-up for installation both indoor and outdoor
- piston compressor plants with prime mover from gas-piston engines (GPE)
- piston compressor plants with air cooling
- modular compressor stations of MKS version on the basis of piston compressors
- easy to service
- high maintainability.
Advantages of piston compressor plants:
- high capacity of compressor plants

- "dry" gas in compressors without cylinders oiling

Traditionally Borets piston compressor plants are manufactured on the bases of 4M (opposite), 2P and 5P (angle) in three modifications:
- with oiling of cylinders and seals - is used when there is oil vapors in compressed gas
- without oiling of cylinders and seals - is used when there is no oil vapors in compressed gas
- without oiling of cylinders and seals for compressing of dry gases - is used when
- compressed gas has humidity less than 30% and there is no oil vapors.
Prime drive of gas compressor plants depends on compressor model and customer’s requirements and can be:
- explosion-proof electric motor with inert-gas flushing or air blowing with power rating 100.6 hp, 214.6 hp and 268.2 hp (75 kw, 160 kw and 200 kw). Prime drive of compressor is done by installation of the motor on the crankshaft console
- explosion-proof shell type electric motor without inert-gas flushing or air blowing with power rating 73.8 hp,100.6 hp and 214.6 hp (55 kw or 75 kw, 160 kw). Prime drive of compressor is done through coupling joint
- explosion-proof electric motor of voltage 6 kV with inert-gas flushing or air blowing with power rating 200 kw. Prime drive of compressor is done through coupling joint
- gas-piston motor with power rating 134.1 to 402.3 hp (100 to 300 kw) of different manufacturers (manufacturer is chosen by the customer). Prime drive of compressor station is done through reduction gear.
Automation system of piston compressor plants was upgraded according to modern requirements. Each compressor plant is equipped with the new control cabinet comprising the components of the leading world suppliers and controllers of research-and-production company "OVEN".
Standard control cabinet controls compressor main parameters according to the requirements and standards of the RF. At customer’s request the functional capabilities of the cabinets can be widen so that to control the additional parameters of both compressor plant and engineering process.
All piston compressor plants can be equipped with automation system in several versions:
- without automation system - only with set of required sensors
- with automation relay system - with controllers of RPC "OVEN" (standard complete set)
- with automation relay system - with controllers of RPC "OVEN" and with possibility to send parameters to the remote control panel
- with microprocessor-based control system - on the basis of foreign controllers.
If automation system is not a part of the standard complete set, Borets will develop the automation system on the bases of the customer’s requirements. Also at customer’s request the automation system can be equipped with the additional guards with vibration sensors, coolant sensors etc.
During installation of several compressor plants in outdoor version or modular compressor stations Borets offers installation of the switchboard of SU series with portable control and power cabinets.
All piston compressor plants were certified by the State Technical Inspection and have Certificates of Conformity and Permissions for operation.
A large quantity of Borets tailor-made compressors are currently used in oil and gas industry, including petroleum refinery, oil production and transportation facilities.
