Design, functions and field of application
Operating element of submersible progressive cavity pump is made up of stator and metal screw.
Clearance – tightness between these parts and type of rubber shall be selected according to a certain operating conditions based on the questionnaire completed by customer.
Questionnaire is a special approved form of "Questionnaire for the selection of PCP system ".
PCPs may be of two designs: ordinary PCP and tandem PCP.
Ordinary PCP contains operating element, flexible and intermediate shafts, supporting module.
Tandem PCP includes two operating elements of different executions (left and right spiral) ensuring double production compared to ordinary PCP.
PCPs are designed for the production of viscous oil.
Pumped-out fluid is made up of oil, associated water and gas.
